Some reflections in At the foot of the hill

I have done a lot of different things in my life. Worked at all kinds of jobs. Known lots of different kinds of people. Tried out different denominations of Christian churches. Contemplated political party beliefs. For the last few decades, though, I have been pretty comfortable with who I am and what I have done with my life. I am confident about my religious position. I have favorite sports teams. I have many good friends who agree with me and many good friends who do not. I have a decent home and a wonderful husband (going on 59 years!) who puts up with me. My children make me very proud every day and my grandkids have grown up to be good people. What more could I ask for?
