Which is good as I feel like I’ve been an especially bad PBer lately.
Guys, what should I do for my birthday this year? I’ll be turning 30 so I feel like I should do something extra special to celebrate exiting my 20’s. I have taken some time off work, but I don’t exactly have any money so that’s limiting. I had toyed with the idea of traveling but I never got around to renewing my passport and I really feel like I need some down time rather than the exhaustion of a mini vacation.
I feel like I could write about work but being cryptic isn’t particularly fun. I had 2 patients die over the weekend, one was a surprise and the other was expected, but not so soon. The one that was a surprise was a patient I had hospitalized and done stuff to help him get better…and then the patient died suddenly and I don’t know the circumstances around the death. My co-worker and I are wracking our brains and we’re really not sure what would have happened and we won’t get answers as my patient presented DOA at an emergency clinic and owners declined necropsy. It’s sad and frustrating.
See what I mean about writing about work? It’s awkward. Maybe I just need to start writing more FO entries to vent about work ::shrugs::
I’m ready for bed. It’s getting chillier, which makes me want to hibernate.
