Fall TV...ABC in Thoughts On...

We are somewhere between three and six episodes into the new prime time television season. Three because the CW doesn’t like to start on time and six because NBC jumped the gun with Blindspot. I have some thoughts on these first handful of episodes…Let’s take it network by network…

ABC

Conviction
I wanted to be on board with this, but the first four episodes have left me really bored. Just about every character is unlikable and one piece of eye candy really isn’t going to save this sinking ship for me. The cases could be interesting if they didn’t all end the same way.

Designated Survivor
Every week Kirkman whines about everything being his fault. He needs to dig deep and find those Jack Bauer balls if I am going to keep watching this good two shows festival. Maybe more Maggie Q story only without so much Maggie Q.

Grey’s Anatomy
Last week might have been the first week I didn’t want to throw alcohol at my t.v. during the Woe is me hour. I am over the Alex/Deluca thing. Let’s get this wrapped up and onto some real medical cases please! If I wanted to watch a really sickening soap opera I would watch Bold and the Beautiful!

How to Get Away with Murder
Am I the only one who feels that if a giant meteor were to hit Middleton College Annalise and the Fab Four (RIP whoever) would survive and cockroaches would actually perish? I hate these characters so much! Also Professor Keating has become an even more enormous bitch if that is even possible. Her “spread your legs” comments to Bonnie, twice in the same episode!, were a little pot/kettle no? Also, can Wes please be under the sheet? He seems to be the root cause of all the problems on this show!

Modern Family
Perhaps it has run its course. I find fewer and fewer laughs each week. Maybe time for some new family to move in…

Notorious
A cut from 13 episodes to 10 is ABC’s way of saying, wrap up Sarah Keaton’s death and don’t come back y’all. The show is terrible and really implausible. A producer of a show like that would not have time to track down leads and is this the only attorney in town that he has his hand in everything that is on LHL? It’s so bad it could almost be a reality show.

Quantico
I still can’t believe they got a full first season pickup and then ordered a season two and are five episodes in and nobody has pulled the plug on this show! Is the plug welded into some power that be’s butthole? There are no words for how absurd and stupid this show is. Also, Blair Underwood is like an undertaker for shows these days.

Secrets & Lies
I thought this might be a good season, I was wrong. I was so wrong. I hate the whole whodunnit/secret life bullshit that just about every crime show has played around with over the years.
