Not Quite With It in Everyday Ramblings

I know, it is Halloween but please indulge me one last picture of the beach even though I am home. We had such a relaxing time. When one thinks about it the fact that everything went so well and we even had two dry days and a little sun it is pretty amazing. I like this shot because it looks so mysterious out there.

The building I live in has some dry rot and there is a balcony outside above my office/bedroom. A few years ago some guys came and out and put up some extra supports for the balcony. Those supports have been drifting.

Today there a bunch of men working on this area, about 8 feet from where my work computer setup is. The cats are watching them. Well, Diego is. Carlo is curled up in a circle in the first cat bed that I brought in this morning from the living area because they were wrestling over the new one.

These men are destroying the white rhododendrons that screen my full-length windows from the sidewalk and street. I had been so happy to have the bushes finally grow high enough that I could let in light while I was working without being stared at by people walking their dogs and talking on their phones.

It is always something.

That’s it. Hope those of you who do something for Halloween enjoy it. :)

I am wearing orange and black to teach in, that is my contribution.
