Thursday Morning in New Diary

Well four more days till the first. I cannot wait until I get my check. I said I was not going to buy any books in November. I changed my mind. John Grisham came out with a new novel called The Whistler. He is one of my favorite fiction writers. I can’t wait to read this book. Also going to by another history book. So much for trying to cut back on spending,

I spent a lot of time reading yesterday. I hardly watched CNN I’m staying away from the election. I did hear on CNN where a new poll suggest that Trump has gained. Clinton is only three points a head. I could not believe this. Last time I checked she was leading by 50% to 38% I was thinking what the hell happened. I was really upset. I saw this on CNN last night and I turned it off. I went back to my book.

I think I am better off in staying away from CNN. It is too depressing. I am really cau8ght up in the election process this year. I want to try to find out what both candidates have to offer. But I.’m really disappointed in both of them because they are two busy slinging mud against each other than discussing the issues. The whole thing is a big turn off for me and is very depressing.

I am better off in sticking with my history books. Election is twelve days away. I think most people who are going to vote have their minds made up already. No amount of campaigning or speech making is going to change one mind. What will happen on November 8 will happen. There is no sense in worrying about it or getting upset about it. All I can do is vote against Trump. Everything else is out of my hands.

I have other things to worry about I am upset with my worker. She did not wash dishes very well yesterday. She put an unwashed bowl away. She did not clean up the kitchen properly. Pancake mix was everywhere. It is bad enough that she doesn’t talk to me when she is here. It is worse when she doesn’t do her job properly and sits on her ass and watches tv. Very disappointed with her .

I had a good supper last night. Chocolatechip fixed a meatloaf. I had two meatloaf sandwiches and scalloped potatoes. She is such a good cook. I said your meatloaf was better than what my mom used to make. She cooked and cleaned up the She did a better job than my worker. Tonight it is my turn to cook and clean.

Oh well life is good. 1 I have a roof over my head. 2 I have insurance that pays for my meds. 3 I have food to eat. 4 I have clothes to wear. 5 I have a wonderful fiancé in Chocolatechip. 6 I am in good physical health. 7 I am not addicted to alcohol or drugs. 8 I have a worker that comes in . 9 I am debt free 10 I have phone internet and cable tv. 11 I have plenty of books to read. 12 I have a SSI and Social Security check. 13 I have a wonderful support system in Healthways.

Life is good.
