Jet stream and Christmas card in blackpropaganda

Here is a dilemma. We would like to go the funeral of our friend - but things have been held up because it was a sudden death apparently unrelated to his previous medical condition - so there has to be a post mortem - and so no date can be fixed at the moment - and it is not easy to get a slot in a crematorium. We are going to Spain soon, and need to get things sorted - so we are waiting to see if we can make it.
In the meantime equinox weather is upon us. The jet stream is sitting over the UK, and bringing depressions in, one after another. It has been hitting Scotland mainly today - but there will be wind and rain around for some time. It did not stop our group walking today - although there were some hairt moments when we had to descend through rocks and heather and the rain had made the ground slippery, especially after 30 or so people had descended. One of my tasks was to make sure people could get down safely - so they held on to me while getting a footing - and glad to say we all got home safely.
I have also had a chance to paint - and maybe got one of our Christmas cards sorted - I hae taken one of my pictures of the bridge in Italy
