I guess going to the Chinese place is out for this month. I aside $34 which included bus fare and the cost of the buffet for two people. After careful consideration I decided that money could be put to better use. Chocolatechip was very understanding about it. I am kind of disappointed but I am pretty sure we can do it next month.
I had some weird dreams last night. In one dream I was back at West Liberty State College. I was taking a class on science. It was a required class. We were having a test and I didn’t know any of the answers. In my dream I could clearly see my old professor back then. He was telling me I shou8ld drop the course I was upset because I could not understand the material. Then I was having an argument with my parents about it. They were mad at me and didn’t want me to drop the class. I don’t know if I dropped it our not I think I ended up flunking the thing.
Then I was having a couple dreams about my dad. In one dream I was having car trouble. He was trying to help me . Neither one of us ever knew anything about cars. He was more of a nuisance than a help. I wanted to have it towed to a garage. He didn’t want to pay for the towing. He wanted me to start the car but it would not start. He started yelling at me and we got into it real good.
I have been having a lot of dreams about school I dream about going to West Lib and Jeff Tech. I dream about some of my old teachers . I dream about taking tests and not knowing any of the answers. I was having one dream last night about working out a math problem. I was trying to find the square root of a number. I didn’t know how to solve the problem and got very frustrated I think this lead to yet another argument with my dad.
Chocolatechip had a good day yesterday. Her sister came up for a visit. They went out for lunch. It turns out they went to the Chinese place. Then they went to Wal Mart and the Dollar General store. They were gone all afternoon. I had a good time alone. I spent it reading I did a lot of reading in my book History of American Law by Lawrence M Friedman. I started reading an interesting chapter on criminal law in the 19th century.
I woke up early today. I felt pretty tired. I laid on my couch not wanting to get up. I think I finally got going around 5:30 I had two cups of coffee this morning and still felt tired and sluggish. Didn’t feel like reading. I checked out some interesting books I mighty be interested in buying some time and checked out my Wish List on my NOOK. They have this one box set of three books for $64.99 Three books by Henry Kissinger memories. I read those back into the 70s and would love to read them again but they are way too expensive.
I saw some other books on my NOOK I might like to get sometime. They have books by my favorite authors when I was a kid. They have Kenneth Roberts book Rabble In Arms and Arundel. They have a lot of James Michener’s novels. I was looking at these books today and they brought back a lot of memories I would love to read those again.
I have always been a reader. When I had a car I used to love go up to Pittsburgh and visit these huge bookstores Borders and Barnes & Noble. I could spend hours browsing for books. Better yet they have a nice library in town. When I was able to walk good used to walk down to the library every day. I would spend almost all day In the Mary H Weir Library. Now I have a NOOK and it is the next best thing to libraries and book stores. Since getting a NOOK I think I have read more than I ever did.
