Thursday in New Diary

I got over to the eye doctor yesterday. He had a very nice office. It was at Trinity West in Steubenville. I got a very good eye exam. The result was that I found out I had cataracts in both eyes. I will need to have an eye exam once a yea t o monitor this shit. God knows how I am going to t pay for it. The Lions Club paid for this visit. I don’t think they will pay for a continued care. While over there he dilated my eyes Everything was blury for a while and I had a hard time seeing But fortunately it wore it self off.

I was over there at the eye doctor almost all afternoon. I had a bunch of paper work to fill out. They asked me all kinds of questions about my health and conditions of my eyes. Told them about having seizures, headaches and dizzy spell/s. Also told them that I smoked a pack a day. Then they asked about family medical history. I told them I don’t know

I was pretty bummed out when I found out I had cataracts. Eventually they will have to be removed. I kept thinking to myself how much long will I have before I need an operation. I also kept thinking how in the hell will I pay for these yearly eye exams. I am on Medicare now and I know I Medicare does not cover this expense. I tried not to think about it but it was on the back burner all night long. Just do not think about it I said to myself. It will drive you crazy.

We got back around 4 yesterday afternoon. Went to Chococlatechip’s apartment. She had rearranged her apartment. She got rid of two dressers she was wanting to get rid of. Put an add on Facebook and then somebody contacted her. She said she was worried about what type of person would be coming to her apartment. But sher said he was very nice and professional. He even had his own dolly

We had a good dinner up in my place. She had some hotdogs in the crock pot and we had a can of baked bean for supper. I have a wonderful fiancé and she cleaned up the kitchen for me. Then we watched Ellen and channel 9 news She lefvt for home around 6 and I watched NBC news Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Later on I watched an old tv show on the Western channel called The Young Riders. I started to watch a mov ie at 9 but fell aleep.

Today is the first. I slept in today. I didn’t get going until 7:30. I had a cup of coffee and took a shower. I called Chocolatechip and she wanted to take the 8:15 bus to Cove and Main. I met her outside and we talked with a friend of ours for a while. Then we got the bus.

We made it to the bank. I didn’t get my social security check today but I did get my ssi check of $94. I took it out of the bank . We walked across the street to the library and waited for the bus to to takle us to Wal Mart. Bus came around 9 and we had to go all over town before getting to our destination. I don’t mind I like long bus rides.

We did our shopping at WM I bought a sub, case of pop and a can of Mawell HOuse. We had a long wait for the next bus. We didn’t get back until noon. It is good to be home
