One of the pop up storms they keep talking about on the news actually happened here. As if it wasn’t muggy enough before. And it’s fucking with my fibro.

A little stress at lunch time. Nothing I couldn’t handle but I did think that I was going to have to call the waambulance for client #1. She was barely coherent, sitting funny in her chair. I tried to get her to stand and she couldn’t do it. Plopped her back down and did her vitals. Couldn’t get her o2 above 79. She usually runs 85 but this was bad. Blood pressure was decent though. 138/80.
she just looked bad. So as I was writing everything down in the book, she tried to get up out of the chair. Thankfully she couldn’t stand on her own or she would have just fallen on her face.

Snugged up the gait belt and shuffled her to the bathroom. Then tried to shuffle her to the bedroom. It didn’t go very well and I was basically carrying her to the bed by the time we hit the door way. Got her settled, and went home to get my smokes and Kindle.

No sooner did I walk in the door she wanted to get up out of bed. I explained to her that she was pretty out of it a little bit ago and almost fell, that I wanted her to rest for a bit. She said “Okay” and laid back down.

Had my nose buried in the kindle and I suddenly heard her in the hallway heading to the bathroom. She was walking fine. I asked her if she wanted to go back and sit in her chair, and she said yes. Her color was better and she was talking normal. So I came back home. I just hope that she doesn’t have another episode (I’m thinking TIA’s) while I’m gone.

I am worried about tomorrow, though. It’s client #3’s day. If #1 is like she is today, I’ll have to reschedule. I hate having to do that. ::sigh::

I’m writing a postcard to some guy in Austria that has 2000 post cards from postcrossing alone. His entire collection is approximately 17,000 cards. WTF does he do with them all?
Anyway I told him that I was very impressed by his stats.
I think I’m going to write another one right now. Give my brain a break.
