The Fair in Talk Story

Aloha and Greetings from a cool (55f) and very foggy day here on the southern coast of Oregon…
Tomorrow a group of us are headed north to the little town of Gold Beach… to attend the Curry County fair…
Thoughts of funnel cake… curly fries… corn dogs on a stick… drift though my mind…
There is a magician’s act… wild bird show… acrobats… wild animals… and even long-horn steers…
Of course our time will be well spent seeing all of the animals… the sheep… cows… pigs… rabbits… chickens… and horses…
There are crafts and artwork… a quilt show… a photography show… and lots of booths offering stuff that I would never purchase…
It promises to be a fun time… wandering around… maybe running into old friends… maybe meeting someone new…
