When you aren't Qualified to do your Job in Adventures of New baby and family

Back after getting a degree in respiratory therapy I got a job right away as a Resp. Health coach! Wonderful job coming right out of school. Great hours, great pay..etc.. As time went on I was a disease Manager, case manager and doing utilization management. I should have gotten my certified case management license prior to all of this but didn’t and didn’t really know that I could. I know I’m a good case manager and have the knowledge to be one. Problem is I’m not a RN (registered nurse). I know that’s the ultimate reason they got rid of me and not the performance reason that they could muster. Someone there for 5 yrs all of a sudden did one thing wrong after being micromanaged come one. They weren’t going to admit that I wasn’t qualified to do the job I was doing and also they would have to compensate me… it was easier that way. Sigh..... So I had a talk with one of the guys that look for placement with employers and he said they were sticklers about it being a RN. I feel like my degree in RT is NOTHING! Literally lower than a CNA (cerfied Nurses aide). Mind you to take the test to be a CCM (certified Case Manager) I could be a Resp. therapist but an LPN could not take it...... But they will take LPN’s whom can’t sometimes. WTF??? So since I haven’t done clinical stuff in 6 yrs and am not a RN I’m fucked...... Thought about going back to school but for another 2 yrs and I would have to take A&P again for the 3rd time is a HUGE deterrent. So knowledge, and doing the job doesn’t count. Not in this case. I have the knowledge but not the degree they desire. Even if I’m certified. That blows.....
Hoping I get lucky.....and find something anyway.

SO didn’t go to California so he will be here for babycakes surgery on Thursday.
