Somebody up their must have heard me moaning about the weather because the last 2 days have been scorchers! Unfortunately the clouds didn’t clear until Sunday so we didn’t see any meteors. Chris had gone camping in the Black Mountains to watch the meteor shower but didn’t see anything. He says he still had a good time though.

We went up to Shrewsbury for the Flower Show on Friday.
I loved this display

This was taken in The Dingle, in the centre of Quarry Park where the show is held

On Saturday we went to Ironbridge. When we visited there in the spring we bought an annual passport which gives unlimited entry to all of the museums and the Victorian Village for a year so we decided to go back and visit the Museum of the Gorge which told the history of how the Industrial revolution began in the area.
This is a photo of a photo showing the world’s first iron bridge in 1782

And here is one I took on Saturday, I love the wildflower meadow

I now plan to spend the afternoon in the garden enjoying the summer weather before it disappears again!
