Bunk beds...weight loss...and the kids in Life as a Mom of 2 boys.....and a girl!!

So, we finally finished the bunk beds for the boys last weekend and put them in it and of course they were so excited they wouldn’t stop talking lol. Cody tends to fall asleep right away and Miles tends to talk to himself in his crib, sometimes for hours so I was sort of expecting it. They LOVE their bunk beds, which is awesome :) They’ve been sleeping in them for about a week now and for the most part it has gone really well but occasionally Miles just won’t shut up (even Cody tells him to lol) so I have to give a warning or two and then put him in the crib as punishment when he STILL won’t be quiet. He’ll learn eventually. I feel like I want to keep Summer in her bassinet in our room a little bit longer cuz she’s so small. I still check to see if she’s breathing every time I go in there lol.

As for weight loss....I weighed in on Friday at 196.2 which is down 1.4 pounds from last week which isn’t bad. I usually like to lose at least 2 pounds a week though so I was a bit disappointed. I ate more calories last week but exercised more to make up for it but I guess that didn’t work so I will go back to eating around 1600-1800 calories again. Not a big deal

Summer is 4 months as of yesterday! She has her needles tomorrow so I don’t know her weight/height yet but she’s small and still fitting fine in her 3 month clothes so I’d guess she is around 13lbs and 23 inches. Her favorite things to do these days are chew her hands, chew my fingers (which hurts!), play with toys even though she is not the greatest at manipulating them yet, watching a bit of TV now and then and when I fly her through the air like an airplane. She’s super clingy lately where I can’t put her down anywhere for more than 5 minutes which isn’t easy. She sometimes will go to other people and sometimes won’t. I’m in love with this pic I took of her on Monday when me and the kids went to one of Mike’s baseball games…

Here’s a great pic of the boys I randomly took the other day. Cody knew he had the same t-shirt as Miles in his drawer so he got excited and put it on once I dressed Miles. Guessed he wanted to be twins with his brother for the day :) They are getting along great this summer for the most part

Anyways, I have more to say but I want to eat breakfast before Summer is up from her nap so....later :)
