Trying To Be Patient in meh...

I’m still trying to stick to the whole not poisoning this space with negativity right now and focus on the good. I am increasingly growing irritated, but I won’t lash out yet.

Grandbaby is now on his second day as kindergarten champ. He has shown me the silent cheer and said he even fell asleep in class. lol This school thing isn’t really new. He was in daycare, but it’s been a while since he’d been there. He said the teacher gave him a hug to wake him up. I guess they don’t get nap time in kindergarten anymore.

Today he started before and after care. I am able to take him in the mornings and still manage to get to work on time. The daycare is actually down the street from my bus stop a few blocks away. I now know that I don’t have to leave so early in the morning to get him there in a timely manner. Well, I don’t have to leave when I left this morning. I can leave roughly like I usually do. He can have breakfast there, I don’t know when they will get him to school. Looks like he will have some place to go for the summer months. That would be nice.

I’ve decided to keep the live feed open and see for myself when this corpse flower will move or do anything. Since yesterday evening, I’ve noticed the camera has been moved. Either that or the plant has been moved. I was looking at this thing yesterday and thought Hmm…I think I see it moving. Is it moving?? just because I want this to be over with. I’ve got the same 6 people calling in rotation since Monday asking if it has bloomed. NO. It hasn’t. They keep trying to get me to commit to a date when it will. Uh no ma’am. I canNOT promise you a date. If you come here from 3 hours away to see it and it hasn’t opened when I said it would, you’d try to have my job. Uhun…Not the kid. So I watch for you. But I can almost swear I keep seeing signs of it little by little unraveling.

And the sight of all these shoes and toes that keep walking past, hoping they will be the ones to be the first to see it.

Oh this one lady called. She was watching the live feed and got outraged because the woman who is caretaker of this plant put a hat on it and took pictures with it. I didn’t know what she wanted me to do. “A couple of your employees have put a hat on the corpse flower and were taking pictures with it. I think that is really disrespectful.” I called my feedback person and told and she laughed like well, It’s EC. It’s her baby she can do what she want. But Hey I did my due diligence and passed the word along. lol

And that’s all I have on today.
