I didn’t have the faintest idea that all those things lived in that tiny cupboard.

With G’s help, all of it came down and on to my empty counter. I was in shock, and George was appalled. Slowly it all got sorted. Do I need two 1930’s wooden salad bowls? No…it is all ad infinitum….you would think I would have learned by now.

The instructions say, don’t sort for looks, but that’s what I do with the upper shelves. The lower shelves have few things on them now…one or two bowls I wanted to keep are a back layer. Don’t do the food or pantry yet, it tells me. I’m not ready yet anyway. I’m still filled with the shock of getting rid of so many things.

Then again, I feel a bit liberated. How about, anyone want a brand new Keurig? Wait till I get to the books.

  • Himself: Worked hard all day. Watched a little Olympics over lunch, a meeting tonight.
  • Herself: Sort, read, sort, eat, sort….carry things to the car. Et al. LOL
  • Reading: Gratitudes.
  • Gratitudes: That I’m being so ruthless and loving the end result.
