For some…
When they watch the IDF batter an 8 year old it’s hard to remeber it’s zionism, not the Jews.
When they watch a drive by shooting, it’s hard to remember that it’s gangs, not black people.
When they see a series of terrorist attacks it’s hard to remember that it’s religious fanatics, not muslims.
When they read about the number of rapes it’s hard to remember that it’s rapists, not men.

We don’t need to teach Jews, Blacks nor Muslims a damn thing.

So why do we think we have to teach Men?

The memetic society of patriachy/social division and the actions of individuals, no matter how horrific they are, no matter how much they riddle the community should never be treated as a carte blanche absolute assumption on all the members of that community.

To me, this is what Anarchism is about. This is what Feminism is about. This is what liberty is about.

It does not matter if odious people use this reasoning to forgive a broken society that abuses people,or derail conversation about how we should deter our society from carrying on in it’s sexist, hate filled oppressive manner. Collective treatment is the birthplace of social division, it doesn’t matter whether we are looking to the oppressed or privleged.

When people attack any of these groups ( the right the first three, the left often the last one) we only serve to isolate and distance ourselves from our community as a whole. Life times of hardship and struggle fueling angry words are vital and potent and needed… I just don’t believe they are the fuel of unity and communication.

“Fuck unity, get angry and smash the fuckers up!”
I hear it in my head too. I just think we need to find a method and movement that can unify the angry voices with the level ones, where we can fight oppression without decending into bickering about whose voice is better or how we should all be logical/passionate/peaceful/violent.

Rather than one that sets to position that all men are bastards, even as a banner call.... even is as a social and ethical position based on the dynamics and abuses of patriachy and the priveleges allocated by it.... It only serves to push people, male and female, into the saccarine tones of those who twist concern for male identity into a deep desire for some Gorian alpha male facistic fetish. (Roosh V cough cough).
