MPKII in The eye of every storm

Well.

I bought this thing.

I’ve never had one of these. One of the hardest aspects of the damn thing is just learning the computer software behind it. What happened to just playing the damn piano?

Anyway.

Here’s my first two products I’ve composed with it. The first is probably the result of watching too many John Carpenter movies. The second is probably from listening to too much Radiohead. The second song is neat though because I actually incorporated a couple of other instruments, and then sang some words.

I got tired of singing words though. I’ve been up for 24 hours, and eventually I was like, “ugh- fuck this, I’m never going to get this right.” So I just kind of ended it. Anyway.

Lyrics:

So this moment
There’s no one stopping you
We have all we ever wanted
Rotten seeds bare bitter fruit
this harvest
our eyes cannot compare
the treasure trove that burns the stoves
never sprouted from your soil

You’re thrilling me to death
so paper thin on this sustenance
we’ve poisoned ourselves
We’re a tribute to a harbinger of dawn
We’re a cropless plot at midnight
beneath a harvest moon

I’m the weed you’ll never pull.

Nobody likes my songs, at least on the facebox or whatever. That’s a shitty feeling. Whatever.
