So… the list of things yesterday? ALL of the ways this county is (1) empty; (2); void; (3) technologically backwards; (4) and improperly run for its citizens?
We can even add ANOTHER ONE. In order to get our Parents Under Investigation drug tested.... an important thing considering most of our issues creating Child In Need reports are due to Meth… in order to get the parents drug tested, they have to drive to a different county to get tested. The testing place (one way trip) IS AN HOUR AWAY! What the ever loving fuck?!
First of all… we’re asking people to take (essentially) 3 hours out of their day to come do something they are extremely reluctant to do.
Second of all… we’re asking people to come do a drug test but (even just GETTING THERE) takes an hour… hope they don’t do anything stupid while driving that could justifiably prevent them from making it to a drug test they may already know they are going to fail.
Third of all… we’re asking people to come do a drug test but asking them to drive (round trip) 2 hours. What if they are on drugs? What if they took drugs that morning? Are you saying it is wise or safe to request these individuals drive a long way possibly under the influence of drugs?
