Dad update in A Day in the Life of Me

So he was in the city today, actually arrived last night as his apt was at 7 this morning.

which of course didn’t actually get taken to until 830… registration didn’t even “open” till 730…
Biopsy went well, he had to hang out for a chest x-ray at 1130 to make sure there was no air in the lung before they would release him.

Apparently that went well too. He was JUST being brought back from xray when I finally had to leave to break down and leave to get to work. I had just enough time to say bye.
He’s out of the hospital and back at the hotel with his son, he’s just not allowed to leave the city till tomorrow morning issues or no issues pending overnight. Mom’s staying at her brothers. To many stairs for Dad.

Be a few weeks before the results are back. He’s also being referred to and “Infections disease” specialist to figure out why this isn’t clearing up.

I so just want to go home and shred the shit out of his doctors. He should have been up here MONTHS ago for this.
