Fierce, beastly hot out in In the Kingdom of Suzu

That’s what my dad would always say when it was so ungodly hot out which it has been the past week or so. We did get a rain storm this afternoon but what we really need is a good steady, soaking rain.

Am still trying to load up pix—my daughter had helped me initially and a pix did come over but i deleted it because it was a band pix and not what i had wanted to post. I tried doing the same thing that she did but it didn’t come over. Obviously i missed a step so rather than frustrating myself with trying it again and again, i am just going to wait til i see her again and have her watch me do it step by step.

Things have been busy here between work and just being melted from the heat. We don’t have central air, only window acs. The cats are melted out too, they don’t like being in our bedroom w/the air because it is too cold for them so they are usually down in the basement because there is a cement floor down there and it is much cooler for them.

I’m pretty far behind in reading my favs so i think i will do that now. Keep cool!
