All is quiet here in this, the second whitest city of its size in the USA. Cops haven’t shot any unarmed people here in a couple of years. And that poor guy lived, rolling away in a wheelchair with a three quarters of a million dollar settlement from the city and the city managed to stay out of the national news.

So yeah, I just finished reading “The Cherokee People and the Trail of Tears” by Theda Perdue and Michael Green.

The United States. The greatest country on earth, founded on greed, racism, genocide, slavery, and the exploitation of immigrants, women, and children. All for the theft of land and resources by the wealthiest.

Do you know that if you have $10 in your pocket and no debt you are wealthier than 25% of Americans? That’s me! I have $52 in paper currency! I do have debt, but not really because I have no concern of paying them off.

Anyway, haven’t been outside much. Kinda hot and humid out there. Don’t really have anywhere I need to go.

I’ve got four more non-fiction books to read so I think I’ll just sit here for a bit longer.
