Saw some vile post attacking people who identify outside the he/she binary… I wont share it, you know the bullshit… but some thoughts.

It’s vital that you respect the manner some one chooses to identify… it’s not that they are “childish” it’s that they are an oppressed pocket under constant abuse and assault and we as members of the community that isolates them should attempt to show kindness to the isolated ones.

You wouldn’t call a goth a rasta would ya.

Chromansonally, neuro-scientifically, hormonally, socially, culturally and politically, Gender is a spectrum. It’s something thats evidenced from native American tribes to the labs of Geneva.

If you think there is a binary and it should be forced, you are wrong, and you need to fix it, before you get lost to being an ardent component of the people who can’t understand facts so spout angry bullshit that makes sense to their bias but mearly oppresses people.

Such ignorance is directly harming people. The Trans, Intersex, Gender queer communitys and individuallys face massive oppression based on who they are (just like goths) and your cognitive dissonance directly leads to depression, suicides and social division.

It’s not a matter of opinion, it’s wholly routed in the simplisation of reality to placate religious doctrine. You might as well say that the world was made 4000 years ago.

On a differant note.... re Gender neutrality…

Every spectrum has it’s middle ground, and those who find their hormonal make up blurred and their dispositions androdegnous find they generally either

  • Show characteristics of male/female or masculine/feminine or machismo /marionismo both, either at the same time or flitting between.

or

  • Show neither, and react in a genuine neatral way.

I’ll admit for some this is selective or as a result of events in their life but for many who identify with terms you cant be assed dealing with and for many many many more who still use male/female this is a perfectly natural manner.

This is not a social thing, but a biological thing it’s easily evidential via hormone tests and live CRT/CAT scans etc.

So ya… we don’t live a binary universe folks.
Hopefully new generations will grow with a spectrum concept of sex and identity and will stop forcing people to be binary, just to appease religious nutters and marketing campaigns.

Last not… if people moaning about being misidentified is your issue, and you need to use it to attack people and think how you would feel if we start refering to you as she/her he/she etc … You need to stop being childish and insisting your a he/she sis/bro. let it go.
