Fruit, soccer and dominant women in blackpropaganda

While much of England seems to be bathes in sunshine (including Wimbledon) we seem to be catching some rain here - and it really pisses you off. I managed to cut the lawns in periods of relative dryness - and we have tidied up much of the garden - and taken the first crop of red currants and blackcurrants - making a red currant jelly and blackcurrant jam.
Also it has been dry while I have been walking on Monday and Tuesday - and when I got back yesterday I found the neighbour and his five year old son cleaning our cars - apparently they were doing theirs - and the lad likes washing cars so they asked if they could do ours. They have never been cleaner!! So a small present for the lad - and many thanks.
We are back to soccer tonight, with the Wales - Portugal match - could be the end for the Principality - but you never know. If they win they are in the Final - now that would be something.
It has been nice on the last couple of nights to have ‘normal’ tv -= and a nice drama serial started on Monday based on the Ann Summers lingerie parties in the 1980s. Set in Sheffield in the 1980s (see The Full Monty) it brought out the issues in starting them up - lots of humour - especially about vibrators (to help the neck muscles) - it is helped by having a strong cast - and a good script - and no nudity!!

And just think we might have another female PM if the Tory Party have a choice between two women after tomorrow - they started comparing themselves to Thatcher (see the 1980s) but they are not - we have moved on - and as we know the public school boys of the Tory Party like being told what to do by their nannies - especially if they are naughty a little corporal punishment would be in the offing. hey - Teresa May as a dominatrix - some thought!!!!
