I'm finally employed again!!! in Actual journal entries

It took me long enough!!!

Well… I’ve been unemployed since November and didn’t start looking until the end of January. So you be the judge as to how long I was genuinely unemployed.

I’m actually glad I finally got a job! I was starting to get bored. Plus, I just didn’t have as much saved up as I would have liked, so I didn’t get to do all the things I wanted to do.

Note to self… Save more damnit!!

Anyways, this is the first time that I’ve ever gotten a job offer straight after a phone interview! To be fair, it was after an initial phone interview with a qa engineer and then a follow-up phone interview with 2 managers on the line, at the same time.

When I was notified of the news, I was like “you mean they want me to come in for an in-person interview, right?”

Recruiter says: “Nope, they want to hire you!”

After that, knocked out the paperwork and that’s that.

Time to enjoy what’s left of my time off. I do have a ticket for universal studios on Thursday. I plan on giving Harry Potter and the Simpsons a visit!!
