Don’t threaten me with love, baby. Let’s just go walking in the rain.” –Billie Holiday
Link NYTimes story about 109 Nobel Prize Winners who support GMO crops.
Note seen on a work cart at my job:
If you quit now you will be back where you started. When you were there you would have given anything to be where you are now.
of really nice pictures of President Obama. Not sure this will work. Try arrowing to the right to see the rest of the pics. Guess it didn’t work. Hmmm. I could steal a pic and repost it but I’d rather you could see them all. I’m sure it won’t work this time either.
A sailboat I’m thinking of buying.
More about it here.
Plus I stole the boat from Neogy Titwhistle
So anyway.
Today was Tuesday. I did very little. I played on the net. I ate. I honestly can’t think of anything else I did. Except take Jim over to rented ground to pick up the pickup. Gracie went with us. She gets very nervous riding in the car.
It’s gotten hot again. The fan is running, throwing a breeze across the kitchen floor.

Two daily papers came today because yesterday was a holiday, but I haven’t looked at either of them. Also bitty articles on prolific authors, actors and movie producers. It said Stephen King has sold 550 million books and is estimated to be worth $400 million. King recently spoke to a crowd in Iowa City and charmed them with his regular guy-ness.
I have a few pictures.
Of my foot and a birdsfoot trefoil along the gravel road.
Of the coleus on the porch. I might have shown this already. If I have I am sorry.
Of the wall of old tin shed with its rusty saw blades on display. Those are very tall nettle plants.
And here are clovers growing in grass.
I took all these pictures the same foggy morning as the famed mailbox photo.
