Stupid humans? in A small but passable life.

The number one google search in Great Britain the day after the vote was “What is the EU?”. Stupid humans.

It took me three evenings to watch the thirteen episodes of season four of “Orange is the New Black”. I suppose it was worth the wait.

Today is Sunday which means it is the day of chemical dosage. Shaving cream, soap, shampoo, deodorant, aftershave, and beard oil. I’m feeling pretty dosed right now. And smelling rather purty.

The younguns’ had disappeared for a couple of days leaving Liam Dog with me. The poor guy didn’t eat the whole time. And didn’t go more than an arms length away from me. He was a pretty sad pathetic mess.

The philosophy book has moved on from the Greeks to the Chinese.

Mom called saying her laptop was down again or she couldn’t get on the interwebs or whatever, something. I had to log on and check the accounts. The checking was down to $16 so I had to transfer $100 over from savings. I told her not to do anything, money wise, until after the first. At least she’s messing up in a good way by paying too much on debts instead of buying more crap she doesn’t need. Well, the porch swing had been on her list for quite awhile and it was only $89. Whatever. It’s her money.

So yeah, everything has been on autopilot around here.

Daughter and her friend made a trip to the homeless people’s hangout place, The Veteran’s Center, yesterday to drop some stuff off so I was able to send four pair of old reading glasses with them. They were still functional, just weaker than I now use.

I’m going to start stockpiling food stuffs for a planned few weeks on the Ozark Trial this Fall. I remember what I took for the month long sojourn in the woods back in March 2015 so I’ll use that as a template. Start with chicken, tuna, and pasta. Go from there I guess.

I’ve got everything else that I’ll need. Just waiting on favorable weather.

So yeah, I’ll just sit here for a bit.
