When?
It’s more than just a hunger-and-thirst game
It’s the battle against you,
not the devils in restrain
Patience is a virtue
a lifetime challenge to gain
including putting up with those who are vain
and others who are a pain

Are we going to win
or are we going to be the same
all over again?
Are we lucky enough to embrace that secret, sacred night of 1000 months
in this year’s Ramadan?
