Much like always… wish I’d gotten more sleep. Unlike always… I did “sleep in” today and got to work at 9 instead of the earlier expected time. But that is nice because next week, I’m at a Conference and events start at 7. mumble grumble

I think… honestly… if I had a To Do List here and knew I could just… do whatever as long as that list got taken care of… that would be ideal. I would be motivated to use my time wisely instead of literally trying to fill it with nonsense.

That being said… I feel like I should chart what I do today… if only for my own sense of purpose.
(1) Desperately fought sleep and the agonizing pain radiating from my back and shoulders.
(2) Read all Prosebox Bookmarks
(3) Responded to a Text from “Work Crush” from Omaha
(4) Skimmed Internet News while fighting sleep and the agonizing pain clawing at my conscious mind perched tightly upon my shoulders and back
(5) Brock Turner Article which I’m sure I wrote poorly and will only serve to piss people off
(6) Deep case analysis. Go through all of my current cases; figure out the specifics of what still needs to happen. Go through all remaining case files to determine error, closed, hold over, etc.
(7) Clean Up on a Magistrate Error (oh, for a professional magistrate!)
(8) Littany of Phone Calls about Plea Deals, Continuances, Rearranging Files
(9) Research and Prepare Resistance Motion

Ultimately, I didn’t get nearly enough done at work. Seriously. The amount of time I spent on research, clean up, and case analysis? Forget about it! But hopefully that organize/clean/aid work today will help me get more done coming up. Fingers crossed. I just got my first Felony Case!

NON WORK STUFF:

Someone on this site who I follow posted the SPOONS Theory for Chronic Illness… this is so spot on! Finite Resource called “Energy” and how it is used has a cost. Perfect!

Another individual posted a great article about Marriage Studies suggesting that Great Marriages blossom from Kindness and Generosity. Is it bad if, upon reflection, it made me worry about my marriage? lol

Ending note: I feel like Yoda today. Not wise and powerful… tiny, hunched, needing of a cane. Slow to respond.
