Alright. I stepped on the scale today and I weigh 156. And I do nothing but go to work and come home every day (literally. I stay in bed til it's time to get showered. I go to bed as soon as I get home.) So. Here we have an exercise journal. I've never weighed this much in my life, except maybe when I got my thyroid taken out and I ballooned up like...a....balloon. And I felt better when I weighed 130, so my goal is to lose 30# as soon as possible.

I started today by going to a martial arts class that includes conditioning (we call it 20 mins of suck....or 5 Rounds of Fitness) Basically five 5 minute rounds starting with cardio and working most of the muscles in the body, I'm pretty sure. Jumping jacks, sit ups, flutter kicks, duck squats. All that fun stuff. I really enjoy it cuz no matter how much it sucks, it's only 20 minutes. I feel results (like now, my entire body aches), and it brings on a good sweat.

Tomorrow is some jiu jitsu followed by a (hopefully) 3 mile run. Yeah, I haven't run in months, but so what. Might as well go big or go home. No pun intended.

So. That's how today's exercises went.
