Thing a doing …… in The odd entries from life …….

Today we can look back on a warm dry week, my three tomato plants are growing but not a quick as the grass, I mowed the grass last weekend; and it looks I could be doing the same this weekend!

As well as mowing I have some backing to do, the last of plants from the Church plant sale two weeks ago, the second plant sale is next week and as will as plants we sell cakes. I’m told smaller cakes sell will, I have borrowed a smaller cake tin, I have looked for a second with no luck as of now; Truro this afternoon once more ……
I have more to do on the lawn, among the grass are broad leaf weeds, the small flowering weeds I like but a spreading dull green large weed spoils any lawn; I need a broad leaf weed killer and is safe with our dogs.

The new wall built as few weeks ago is near finished, the only job left is painting, I think it is work and illness that is holding it back. I will help when things start, I’m quite pleased with the look of the wall; and the garden is less overlooked.

I have a second plant project, when we were clearing the ground around the Church we found a tiny holly shoot, it is in an yogurt pot, I doubt we will have holly with deep red berries this Christmas; good news the Christmas card are not in the shops yet …………………….
