Huh.

So… y’know that long list of things that aren’t finished in the house? Things as small as no mailbox, no house number, cables that don’t go anywhere, no hot water, no air conditioning, no vents for AC in the ground floor, no waterline to the fridge or the dishwasher, no vent for the dryer… to name the first few? Yeah… we had a new one today.

Apparently… anytime we use water, it has been flooding the basement. I may have already written about that. Now that I think about it. ANYWAY… we couldn’t even use so much as the toilet… a big problem. We called LANDLORD… the only thing he didn’t know about was the flooding pipe. Meaning… knowing when we were moving in… he simply decided to not have any of that stuff completed. Grugh! And even though he promised us “Fully Ready by the End of May” and even though we told him “Moving in on the 24”… the last time he had any workers in this house was May 19th. Pretty displeased with that when you consider that LANDLORD made a big deal to get non-structural wooden beams in place around the house… it was a big deal… meanwhile, actual things people would need to live well go simply undone. He had damned well better have his work crew scheduled to get this house fixed sooner rather than later.
