Finish line it sight in Watching Life Fly By

Students are done Wednesday- I am done a week and a day later. Then Chloe and I leave VA for 2 weeks and go to NY to visit family and maybe a few friends. I’m excited to go with Chloe but know the drive is going to be terrible. An 8-9 hour trip will probably take 12hrs. I can’t drive through the night- I did that once and almost killed us both because I hate night driving and need sleep at my normal time.
Mike is staying in VA to work and I think that’s best. We argue about silly things and it will be good to miss each other. I feel bad for separating him from Chloe but they will be fine. I need a break from our dogs, Chloe being at the sitters and working/stress.
Chloe and I had strep throat consistently from the end of January through April. We then had a stomach virus right afterwards. We were good for about 3 weeks and then we got hit with strep throat again Friday. I’m annoyed. I’m done being sick and being on antibiotics that make our stomach upset. I would like us to be healthy again. I was never sick until I had Chloe. Chloe has gone through chronic ear infections and got tubes then chronic strep throat. They won’t discuss tonsil or adenoid removal until she is at least 2 (end of August). We’ve sanitized the house, replaced toothbrushes and cups and did the same at the sitters house. We treated the dogs and my husband even though they were not sick and we finish all medications plus Chloe takes vitamins. I teach high schoolers so I doubt I’m bringing strep home (they are not touching me or breathing all over me). I sanitize the classroom every day now to prevent the spread of it just in case.
I’m STILL trying to get pregnant. Still not luck unless I am newly pregnant this month but I doubt it.
