I spent a year on an Arts course in Southport, I was on the Photographic option, most of the time was spent on the craft of photography and one year is not a long time.
There is two talking points that have lingered in my head, the first was a photograph of a man in rubber clothing hung upside down in a gent’s toilet – discuses! All I could add to the discussion is that we are fee to make an image but it wasn’t a subject that moves me.
The second was a landscape that the photographer had kicked the tripod as the image was captured, most photographs capture one moment, kicking or moving the camera creates an image of several moments; there are many images when movement will inject life to the photograph.
