Over And Over by Madonna in The Song Remembers When

Like A Virgin is actually my least favorite Madonna album. I hardly ever listen to it because it’s just kind of tacky. I love Madonna just as much as I love Stevie Nicks, but that whole album is just kind of throwaway to me. I like the more interesting things she did with the songs as her career went on, but the album itself is really blah to me, and I don’t really believe that Nile Rodgers did anything too spectacular on the album.

She didn’t write any of the hits on the album (which, aside from “Dress You Up”, I never really cared for) but she did write this song which is about her work ethic. It’s exactly how I feel and when I first heard this song, I couldn’t believe how much it describes how I handle things.
