......the plant life on ‘the rock’, as they call [‘they’ being the locals] it is really pretty. We didn’t see much wildlife other than a few geese w/ their..........um goslings that’s the word. on the rock we saw the famous california poppies and calla lilies. The poppies were bright and i love ......um calla lilies. we took the ferry back to the mainland i think is what seafaring people call it. waited at........

.......um right. we waited at pier 39 for my mom’s friend to pick us up.she knows my mom from college they were in the same dorm. My mom went to CC actually both my parents did that’s where they met. uh so anyway. The friend Jessica is from san fran and she currently lives there. she took us to dinner bought us dinner. I had linguini w/ butter.my god i love butter. and i had Jessica’s brocolli since she apparently doesn’t like brocolli. but i do it’s the one vegetable i like.like a lot. [and no corn isn’t a vegetab;e,but i like corn too. a lot]. um. and we got sourdough bread. i’m like ‘yeah ok i’ll try it’. and it was really good.and i don’t usually like bread as it’s too dry. So after that Jessica drove us around the city.she’s a nice lady. she just um she doesn’t hold back. which i don’t like about people. no wait after dinner we stopped by her place saw it met her super nice dog Buster.he’s an english setter. he’s not that intelligent but he’s really nice like i said.so he went in the car w/ us on the tour around the city. we went to Columbus Circle and saw the zoetrope bldg. and the millitary cemetary. oh and the Golden Gate at night. Before dinner we went to Telegraph Hill where Coit Tower is.we didn’t go in as it was closed. so as part of the tour we went down Lombard St. twice really fast.it was fun but i’m not sure i’d do it again.it’s one of the most crooked streets there. she took us back to our hotel.
so yeah we did a lot on wed.
so on thurs. we.........oh that’s right we went to mama’s. it’s this really cute diner. it’s small and yellow inside. it took us 15 - 30 mins. to get our food but they were busy so.the food was good. i’d read about it but i didn’t know whether or not it was an actual place.like for example tatto-ine [sp?] from star wars isn’t an actual place but it’s filmed in an actual place.i mean like as opposed to on a soundstage. i’ve been there to where it was filmed.that underground bar place..........yeah it’s in tunisia.i was like 10 so. [my god i can’t believe i was 10 once.and here i am 28].
so then we went to coit tower.it’s a long way.
