are you going, to san fran-cisco? *san fran stuff of course* flight virgin rap video, hotel, chinatown. wed. little henry's, japantown, mall. war memorial, fillmore st. pier 39. bicycle cab. alcatrez. in yes i'm aware it's 2016.

well i already went. had a really good time. yeah it’s a cool place.

so we. left Tues. the 19th. ‘we’ being my mom i. uh.......our flightleft at like 1 we got there by..........oh god. well it was before..........4 CO time. but they’re an hr. behind so it was before 3 their time. although weird thing. about the tv scheduling. so like. ‘big bang’ for instance is on at.i think 7 our time. [again being CO time]. but it’s on an hr. later there so it’s actually on at 8 even though.they’re an hr. behind us.like i said.
The flight wasn’t terribly long.i guess i’m used to that being that the flights to London and amsterdamn were so damn long. We took Virgin which has this rap video thing . like well. It was the usual safety instructions video but it was a rap.and they sang and stuff. I like that they show you that.like that it’s visual. and then they tell you about it too.cause sometimes when there are just pictures on things like.i need the pictures explained. yeah so i liked that part.
So when we got in we checked into our hotel. it was v. nice small. tall narrow front door w/ a doorman. They had fruit water in the lobby. and giant maps on the front desk.like where you tore it off the stack. We checked in put our stuff in our rooms and then we went.oh i think that’s the day we went to Chinatown.which i don’t have photos of.or maybe i do........um and then.right so we ate dinner there. I got this stuff that looked like spinach w/ these big seed dudes. i forgt what it was but it was in garlic and it was good. that place was cold. they had fish in tanks at the back. it was called like English Asia or Eastern China or something like that. oh but before that at the SF airport we got a couple bakery items. So after our day of flying and dinner we went to our hotel and watched tv. the floor that our room was on it was like a tenement bldg. the hallway thing. a small hallway w/ black metal stairs. the hotel was a marriot.
and then on Wed. which was the following day.we. oh well we went to Little Henry’s.which i wouldn’t reccomend as the food’s not v. good. It’s this diner type place w/.........like an eatery in the middle. well by ‘diner’ i mean there’s a counter. and then tables and chairs in the middle. i got pasta. i. They have asians working there. no i’m just stating a fact.
ok so after that we went to japantown. it’s nice there. It’s like little japan. I’ve actually never been to Japan. they have bamboo [in japantown i mean but probably also in japan] and big bonsai trees. well they were in a planter. but they were maybe a little taller than a 24 inch tv. They had bamboo by a spa we stopped in. and then we went to the peace pagoda and to the mall by it. there’s also a japantown town center or something like that at either end of where the peace pagoda area is. the pagoda is really big. Then we went to the flat mall where we stopped in a stationary store.went over the red and black ‘bridge’ to the upstairs. then made our way downstairs. oh so when you walk out of the mall there on the wall to your right are.Japanese shadow boxes. they don’t like do anything they’re purely aesthetic but it was cool to see them. they had these little window displays of them. let’s see and then........well we went outside to the japanese war memorial landmark. tall narrow and black. then back inside via another entrance to the mall. to where they have a flat fountain next to tables. walked around a bit.
Along one of er. the window displays in one of the stores has tiny a tiny chair and tiny table and glasses the size of shot glasses. and they sell a plush grill cover.which i have a photo of.yeah it was weird. We went back downstairs and came upon a short castle display thing about 6 ft. high. [that’s. the average height for guys]. and a few paragraphs that tell about the castle. There were fake flowers in the mall on the ceiling i guess maybe that’s a thing in Japan?...........idk.
back outside again. to a spa which bamboo was by black bamboo. then to Fillmore St. it’s a famous St. there for those who don’t know. i took a photo of the window art at the fillmore st. bakery or w/e it was.the art was cute.which, looking at my photos is how i realised where we were. yeah the Fillmore Bake Shop is the place according to the photos.
did more walking around went by a dome.thing and......passed a church. oh we wet on a cable car ride that was really cool. On the ride we saw a store entitled ‘out of the closet’ which i thought was funny.we ended up in the financial district. went to pier 39 which evidently is a famous pier there. walked partway and took a bicycle cab the rest of the way. waited there for a bit got on the ferry and went to Alcatrez.yeah it’s a creepy place.and sad. actually also it was interesting. we had an headphone audio tour. i was so glad to be out of there.
