1: One can not outtrain a bad diet.
2: The worst program done pedal to the metal will outperform the best program done half-assed.
3: The best plan is the one you’ll stick to.
4: If your overall plan is working and you’re making progress, don’t make big changes.
I’ve done my best to get out of the habit of giving advice. I know all the mistakes I made years ago, and all the bad habits I’m still capable of. But, my cup of tea might not be everyone’s. So. Gotta just keep it general and let people do their own thing. I have an associates in Exercise Science, and can positively tell you that most of what I know in terms of fitness I learned from the intarwebs.
Perhaps I could add an warning about information overload, but I think “dude, quit changing your shit if it’s working” covers that.
Eh, whatever. I mean, I think p90x and crossfit are full of shit, but if you put in the effort, you’ll probably get something out of it.
