I might be an socialist because I think that organisations such as google, facebook, bt, virgin, serco amazon,halliburton etc should be nationalised and handed over to non profit organisations with community oversight headed and ran by the workers they currently employ for the benefit of the community as public utilities or at the very least we should have sister organisations provided the same and equal service.

I might be an Anarchist because I can’t make anyone else agree with me and I’m dubious of the methods of organisation required to make this happen, I wouldn’t trust the workers who found themselves managing it, I suspect corruption would be rift and even tho It sounds like a good idea maybe just burning them to the ground is just simpler.

Jokes aside I think radicals on the left need to spit out the bad taste of reform and seek to use it as just another tool of change but until we help people realise that they don’t have to accept the oppression they face and that another life is possible and we do so without mandating that we all have to be inclined to rar rar burn the cop shop, man the barricade, kill em alll attitudes and that whatever your means or capacity and inclination you are vital to change… until then we’re trust treading water, fashionising our hair shirts and waxing lyrical.

We need action, every action.
