Still fighting with my computer…well, it’s not really my computer’s fault. It’s my ISP. We live in a building with 65 apartments. We found out that Comcast has only one line coming in. When it was built in 2001, that was probably adequate because few people had WiFi. Now, almost everybody has it and 2 or 3 HD TV’s…and we still have our cable coming on one line with a splice off for everybody… and here we are the very last on the line. Needless to say, it’s pretty weak by the time it gets up here. Some times of day are worse than others. The cable guy said he had spoken with his boss and said boss said he would get together with management here and try to do something… but who knows when?

Other stuff: We are in the middle of a three-day blizzard here today. We have play tickets for this afternoon with our Senior group and dinner reservations. I’m waiting for a phone call that the play is cancelled. Don’t want to go out… but the tickets cost a lot so we will go if it happens.

My sister is still here from California. We are going on a BIG road trip and taking her home. We leave Thursday (weather permitting), headed north. Will have brunch in central Wyoming with my niece and then drive about 500 more miles to our daughter’s in northeast Montana.

Spending the weekend there, we’ll head southwest Monday to Bozeman, MT where we’ll visit Sister’s son & wife for a couple of days. Then it’s south to
Idaho Falls, just skimming the west edge of Yellowstone Park. A couple of days in IF with Papa’s brother & wife, before pushing on, stopping in Pocatello for brunch with a cousin, and west and north to Boise.

Our brother’s three sons and his widow all live in Boise so we will be spending several days there visiting. Sister also has a son in the area, and Papa wants to try to see a cousin there.

Then it’s all south. Reno area first day, central California coast next with a stopover for a day with another cousin, then on into LA area and at last Sister will be home. We’ll hang around there for a few days and rest up for the two and a half day trek thru California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado home.

Wow. When I write this down like this it about wears me out!
