Best Gift Ever! in Hello

Christmas was fun. Did the breakfast thing with the family, took a bunch of silly Christmas-y photos with Krystal Christmas Eve when we got off work.

She got me a Dead Kennedys "DK" shirt as well as the Amazing Spider-Man Blu-ray DVD. I got her Adventure Time socks as well as the BMO character t-shirt from the same show.

Mom got me the two things I asked for, a tap and die set for my toolbox and the Marvel Lego game. But the surprise she got me totally made my day. A Sons of Anarchy shirt with all the characters mug shots on the front. I was so stoked.

But the best gift came last night on the twenty-sixth. I had just gotten home from a late shift at work and mom told me that I had another bill from the hospital for my stay back in October. I had gathered up bank statements and check stubs from work to see if I qualified for financial assistance through the hospital seeing how I work retail for a living AND go to school full time so I don't make much. I opened the envelope up and read the enclosed statement saying that I qualified for 100% financial assistance. I looked at the remaining balance...zero.

it went from $17,035 (yes, you read that right) plus some change to ZERO!

That made my Christmas.
