Your Suffering in Poetry is the Window to the Soul...

And sometimes the inspiration comes from hating this place, but needing to always stay true to yourself and sincerity – the desperation for authenticity – and so I still write..

“Your Suffering”

Tell me of your suffering.

Speak to the pieces of me that others not only steal, but literally carve out of my very vibrant and afterwards withering soul.

Because it fuels theirs.

I do.

You are faded.

So now my jubilant disposition is no longer enough.

Hence I must also suffer.

I wither.

And drop to my knees.

Crawl.

Until I can barely slither.

And we are within the magic kingdom of your incredibly profound indifference to challenge your weakness into something less a cylinder if it was a square or more a rectangle if it was triangular.

You cannot embrace change.

Out of being afraid.

The world is fear. Life is terrifying. Embrace it.

Commit not the thievery of another’s courage simply because you lack it in such ways that only haunt.

Everyday in my life I give, I fight, and I dare myself to not be greater the very next.

Most days I merely fail.

Some, spectacularly so.

Yet each morn I am culled from slumber by the inability of me to stop myself from wonder and wondering – well, I always try.

And I always shall.

You will fall for me.

For my love.

My passion.

My unrelenting pursuit of more, better, different, and inability to steel myself into a cubicle or a place where monotony becomes my heart and stains my very soul.

Until it leaves a hole.

Such one that I might never again become, well, whole.

So fall for me, but not take of me, unless you are willing and determined to embrace my ways.

Let’s fight, live, love, breathe, and become so much more than we merely just were a second ago.

Bravery is not the willingness to tackle success.

It is the need, nay, obsession of something greater than you that you become uncomfortably used to failure.

Because sometimes, just a few sometimes, you get it.

And then have you not won?
