What will I watch now ……………. in The odd entries from life …….

The BBC are flying high in the first quarter of 2016, this weekend has seen to conclusion’ Thirteen’ a five part series about a thirteen year old girl kidnapped and escapes thirteen years latter, the story moves on from there. This series was first seen on BBC 3 which is now a on-line channel, the series is still running on channel BBC4.

On Sunday night ‘The Night Manager’ kept many of us on the edge of our chairs though the six episodes, ‘Thirteen had a cast of actors mostly unknown to me, but made a great job of the story. ‘The Night Manager’ has a star cast, and a star made over the last six weeks, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, Tom Hollander, Russell Tovey, Neil Morrissey and Tom Hiddleston who is being talked about as the next James Bound 007; I knew him from the ‘Wallander’ series.

‘The Night Manager’ series from a book by John le Carrie, the story was brought up to the recent years, the story in the book set in the early 1990’s. It will air in America next month, 19 April 2016 on AMC. In a way I have watched it twice, once on television and once again on BBC iPlayer, ‘Thirteen’ on BBC iPlayer via my Mac!
