‘18 Snickers’ in The odd entries from life …….

I went shopping today, I thought I would state baking now, starting with a Victoria Sandwich, as well as the ingredients I also needed two sandwich tins. After that it was a look round for food, the freezer at home is near to full so I took it carful so we wouldn’t need to eat some place. As I shop with care I keep a sharp open for a bargain …….

I noticed some packs of nine Snickers [chocolate bars with peanuts] this were 50p the usual price is £2.50, I took two! As I left the till I had a quick look at the bill, two Snickers £5! I waited until the person after me had paid, then I pointed it to the lady at the till, she called for some one to look at the price on the shelf.

After a moment a suited man came to me, he told me a different Snicker packs had been there and sold out, the place was filled with the normal Snickers and the 50p tag left in place; soon we were off to the top till.

I had trouble keeping up with the young lady, but I soon cached up, they had over charred me by £4 and were giving my £8 back and one pack of Snickers; just like that my £24 bill went down to £16 – now that is good shopping!

Even caring the bags going home seemed lighter, When I got to Bus Station Peter was waiting for the bus home, so one bag was taken of me, tomorrow I will test my baking abilities ……………………..
