Right after making Christmas ornaments, I started looking for another project. I feel lost if I dont have projects to go home to. I found a cute pattern for some bunnies and started making them.

The bunnies were actually bunnies in a carrot cocoon.

For the boys that is all they were. I did make t-shirts, diapers and booties on them before I put them in the cocoons. They were very easy to make and pretty dern cute.

For the girls I made cabbage purses for them. I made several different dresses, diapers, and booties for them, all matching. They went in the bottom of the purse. I made a mattress to lay the bunnies on that fit in the purse. Then the bunny in the cocoon went on top of that. So when the girls open the purse they see the bunny and mattress. But when the mattress is pulled out they see the clothes.

I didnt make the carrot pillow or the blanket, though. These are all pictures that came with the pattern. I cant believe I didnt take pictures of the actual ones I made. Oh, well.

For Carson and Cam I decided to make fish tail blankets. A friend of mine at church had asked me if I had seen the mermaid blankets and I told her yes, but just recently I found a Nemo pattern so boys can have the blankets, too. I had Sarah measure the boys around the chest and their length from the underarms to the floor. Then I made the Nemo one and made up a pattern for Cam’s fish. I took pictures with my phone but not with my tablet for some stupid reason. And I cant get my pictures to mail to my phone nor to go to Photobucket. Some glitch, I presume. Anyway, the only picture I can get on here is the one that Sarah put on Facebook last night while the boys were watching a movie. The boys insisted in sleeping in their fish tails last night. I was so happy they like them!!!

They were fun to make and pretty quick to make. Carson was flapping his legs last night saying he was swimming. lol So much fun to see the boys wearing them since I was concerned about the measurements. But they each have a few inches both ways before they get too big for them. Oh, and in the picture you can see Carson cuddling his bunny. Yay!!!

At the end of the conversation Cap told the boys that I was going to make him a big old whale tail. I quipped that it was going to take whole lot of yarn!!!! lol The boys and Cap enjoyed laughing together on that one.
