I had a crazy idea of saving you
even when I had no clue
What could I do?
I wasn’t even sure that I could save myself too

I had such a crazy idea
Who would’ve thought that it had been from me?
I’ve always been careful, as cautious as can be
I’ve made sure that I’d never just dive in recklessly

Once upon a time, I had that idea of saving you
but hey, this is real life - not a fairy tale
I couldn’t do much, so I had to bail

I need to protect myself too
I don’t want to sing the same old blues…
