I have four classes this term.

Physics- This is the second time I have taken this class. It's also the second time I have hated this class.

Sign 161- This class is actually the first ASL course. The sign160 class I took taught about the Deaf Culture. I learned a lot of basic signs in that class. This 161 class I will learn proper grammar and many many more signs. I love this class. It's taught with "voice off" technique. It's hard to unlearn depending on ears and to learn how to depend only on sight. However, it's very challenging and I like the challenge.

EKG Tech- When I finish this course I will get a certifiate to be able to EKGs. Yeah! I will be certified in something! I hear that this class is hard. So far it seems ok.

Pathology- This is my first and only online course. So far it's been very easy. I hope it stays that way. Its not too hard. I was scared that being online it was going to be difficult. The prof's online power points seem very clear and detailed. So that's cool.

After this term I will have my associates degree. This makes me very happy. Then after that I will be studying mainly ASL.

Then next summer, I will hopefully be in the sonography program and finish school 14 months after that.

On to Lily..

She started her 4th daycare. Hopefully this will be her last. She is in the college daycare which is a early learning school. She is flourishing in this school. She has only been there a week and she is already communicating better and behaving better. Her temper tantrums have cut in half. They are also not lasting nearly as long. I am just thrilled with her progress. All of her teachers have a bachlers in child developement. It shows. They are so patient with her and so good at teaching her correct behavior.

Her ALS is up to probably 60 words now. Her English is way above that. She knows A, B, C, D, E, and O in sign lanuage. She recognizes them in English too.

Her favorite charactor is Elmo and Big Bird. She recognizes Bert too. She still loves Beaker (Me Me as she calls him) too.
