I missed the first episode last night, I’m so detached just now I could miss my refection in a mirror, I found it on BBC’s iPlayer this morning; it was everything I expected from John le Carré.

Two film companies looked to make a film of the book, wasn’t that lucky! Now the BBC has taken the book ‘The Night Manager’ to make a six hour series; much much better to see the story over six hours rather then see half of the book ripped out to fit the two hour format.

There is a grate cast, Olivia Colman, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Hollander, Hugh Laurie and Russell Tovey, some out of the UK will not know some names; but they are all up to the job; the journey of nights between winter and spring will pass quicker.

From episode one you will notice the BBC’s style and exquisite pacing all over it; joy in deed.
