Mourning a dream suicide in Dreams 2016

I have been trying to work out the meaning of a dream I had today....I’m doing night shifts at the moment, so I have been sleeping during the day.

Anyway, the only thing I can remember is that I am told that an acquaintance of mine (who is a step father of one, father of two and a grandfather in real life) has committed suicide. It’s night time when I get told. The rest of the dream involves me mourning. I remember the feeling of mourning being incredibly strong.

I’m trying to work out what this means…
