I have been a creepy lurky lurker for a week on here. All silent and spying on your worlds! I have so many words swirling around my brain, like millions and I feel the need to spew them all out on this page but they are so confusing and it has been so long since I have written words here, that other people may actually read, that I have forgotten how to so I am just going to steal this quizzy from a favorite favorite and just fill in some questions instead. Jesus Christo it has been so long that even my words are wrong and outdated. Are people still favorites?!

What time did you wake up this morning:
Super late. Like 2pm. I have been in a funk. Sleeping until 2 makes the funk worse because then I feel like a loser. It is better than 4.29pm which is when I woke up yesterday. Which made me feel like a real winner.

Is there anyone that could make your day if they showed up at your house?
There are many people that would make my day if they turned up at my door but none of them live in the same city as me.

How old was the last person you rode in a car with?
44. It was the husband.

Do you have big plans for the weekend?
Not yet. We have to return a thingy to Ikea which we may do or we may go to visit my in laws.

How long have you lived at your current residence?
5 years in April. We own it and it is beautiful. I love it and wish I could move it when we leave.

When was the last time you were up at 5am?
I am usually up at 5am from the night before. I keep strange hours.

What was the last movie you saw in theaters and who did you go with?
It has been a while. It was The Life of Pi with my friend Zoa, who now lives in Hong Kong.

When was the last time you went bowling?
1998, I did not bowl but I went with people. I have never actually bowled in my life.

Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon?
I have not.

The Eiffel Tower?
I have only been up once but I have seen it many times.

The Great Wall of China?
I have. It was a very funny experience that my husband and I have entitled The Great Mall of China. It has become one of those anecdotes we tell at dinner parties. When we tell it we leave out the part where I was in the middle of having a complete melt down at that time.

How old were you in 1999?
I was 18 for the first 8 months.

How many funerals have you been to this year?
None. The only funeral I have ever been to is my ex-boyfriend’s. I am very immature and have avoided all other funerals because I am not emotionally apt enough to deal.

When was the last time you spent a night stargazing?
First week of December when we were on a road trip in Arizona and New Mexico.

Are you taller than 5’6”?
I am so very not. I am like 5’ half an inch. In my head I am much taller.

What were you doing last night at 10pm?
Waiting for my husband to go to bed so I could sneak off to my local bar without feeling judged. Mostly judging myself and feeling gross about my poor decisions.

Do you have a favorite pillow you always sleep with?
Yes. I love my pillow. I miss it when I travel.

When was the last time you slept in someone else’s bed?
Other than hotels and Airbnb? Oh I slept in The Best Friend’s bed with her in October when I was staying at her place and we sold the couch. She sold it like three days before we moved her to Miami. Her cat was very annoyed by all of this.

Are there any candles in the room you’re in?
No, I am sort of scared of burning candles. I have known two people that had their cats knock over their candles and burn the whole house down. One of them was my ex-mother in law. She was a piece of work. I am pretty sure it was an insurance scam.

If you turn around, what is behind you?
A chair, shelving, tv, books, a globe map.

Would you dye your hair hot pink for $50?
No. I have dark hair with grays. I like my grays. I don’t really want to fuck with my hair colour.

Do you know what you’d have been named had you been born the opposite sex?
I do not. I never thought to ask. Now I wish I did. I may call my mother tomorrow and find out.

Where was the last place you spent more than $50?
At a bar downtown Saturday night. It was an after party for my husband’s company “prom”. It was fun. I think I may have been a bitch to someone. I am still feeling a little guilty about a situation that may or my not have happened. I should probably just let it go.

Are there any buttons on the clothes you’re wearing?
Indeed. I wear a button down shirt pretty much everyday.

How about zippers?
My jeans do have a zipper, yes.

Are your fingernails painted?
Always. Often chipped, but always painted. It was literally against my religion growing up to have your nails painted. Since I moved out of my patents house in the early 90s my nails have always been painted.
