Digging out in In the Kingdom of Suzu

Today starts the digging out from the 30” of snow that we received😱😱. We shoveled the front walk and sidewalk and while it is a lot of snow, it is light and fluffy. We are going to take the digging out in stages. We have a parking pad in the back facing an alley—that has not been plowed nor the side street that Jeff parks on. I can always take the bus to work or catch a ride—he might have to do a call in but he says that he is not going to stress about it and really if the road isn’t plowed, what can you do?

The food from the fridge and freezer are staying cold or frozen, we covered the stuff that we didn’t want to freeze overnight with blankets. It is sunny out and the temps are 33 and progressively getting warmer during the week altho not above 40 so I think our food will survive. We can look for a fridge on line and know what we want but it might be a problem getting it delivered over the snow Baka from the street— oh well, will cross that snow bank when we come to it.

Hope everyone is ok and those who also experienced this snow storm are ok. Have a wonderful Sunday!
